How to offer a forever home

We are looking for stable, committed and dog experienced homes for our rescue dogs to place their roots down in and put their slippers on!  Many, many Staffies are handed around and when they begin to come loose so many people just expect to ring a rescue and they say; "great we'll come and collect"! The truth is that rescues have waiting lists and some rescues have a defined quota of Staffies and others don't choose to take any.  Frantic people spend days on the phone beginning to appreciate there is no-one there for their Staffie. People resort to 'dumping them on the streets or on parents'. Exceptionally high levels of Staffies are found stray ... these are dogs who are VERY connected in with people ... they would need to have been duped into losing their owners ... how sad is that.

We neuter, vax and microchip all our Staffies. We love them for being Staffies and they learn to hold their heads high with us.

In rehoming a Staffie your life will be enriched, but you will experience some prejudice. You may find you gradually have to win dog friends over to your new found friend .. simply leave that to them .. they are marvellous public relation officers. Complete our Homing Questionnaire if you are ready to offer a home to a Staffie but before you do, we suggest you go and meet a few, walk and talk with their owners .. they are fantastic dogs and you will feel more confident in offering them your heart and hearth.
